This is a co-ed class. This course will stress the fundamentals of weight training, aerobic & anaerobic conditioning, flexibility, agility, speed, powers, balance, and plyometrics. The students will be exposed to fitness components through tests of power, strength, cardiovascular fitness, and agility. Students will learn safety issues and how to use proper techniques on each lift. Health related issues will be addressed with regard to sports and nutrition.
